Guided Fly Fishing Trips

Day Trips

Equitable Angling offers immersive day trips across two distinct landscapes. In northern Montana, guests can enjoy full-day float experiences in the Flathead watershed, drifting gin-clear summer water in a Ro Tailwater Skiff while targeting native Cutthroat trout with dry flies, nymphs, dry-droppers, or streamers. Based in Columbia Falls near Glacier National Park, these June–September trips pair exceptional trout fishing with sweeping mountain views and abundant wildlife. From October–May, Equitable Angling transitions to raft and canoe based adventures on Texas’ Devils and Pecos rivers, where anglers pursue smallmouth and largemouth bass, carp, and gar amid dramatic desert scenery and warm, sight-fishing-friendly conditions. Both trip styles are designed to immerse guests in wild places while offering the comfort and protection of a well-appointed boat—an experience suitable for anglers of all ages and skill levels.

Hosted Trip Opportunities

Equitable Angling’s hosted travel program continues to expand, offering multi-day, fully curated angling experiences in exceptional destinations such as Patagonia, Argentina and Wyoming’s Green River. These extended trips give anglers the time and space to pursue their favorite trout species while enjoying elevated comforts—from thoughtfully selected lodging and chef-prepared meals to world-class scenery. What sets Equitable Angling apart is the intentional design behind each itinerary: every detail is handled in advance, eliminating the stress of arranging guides, travel logistics, and accommodations. Guests also benefit from the camaraderie that naturally forms within these groups, creating lasting friendships and a deeper connection to the fly fishing community. Alyssa travels alongside each group to ensure a seamless, supportive, and unforgettable experience.

Our Clients

We believe each client is a long term partnership

C. Olsen

Alyssa is stunning – she is a fantastic communicator, she has a shiny & positive attitude, and she is delightfully patient. She was so competent on the sticks as she moved us from hole to hole, which put us onto some beautiful and chunky fish. At one-point, Kjeld and I had a double hook-up with a pair of rainbows.

B. Anthony

What an experience for family fun! Alyssa was our guide, she was fantastic. Brought our children 10 and 8 years old and they had an experience of a lifetime.

K. Bergmann

Alyssa was amazing! So personable, patient, knowledgeable about the river and fly fishing in general. She is a consummate professional, a master of her craft and credit to her profession!
